EXOCYTOSIS

Exocytotic material is in vesicles

Vesicle is attracted to cell membrane by v-snare, t-snare proteins

Calcium is the ion of exocytosis

conversion of substances from pre-pro state and exocytosed another way  is prompt transport

  1. Calcium mediated exocytosis is a wonderful concept. Docking involves locking of v-snare protein (synaptobrevin) in the vesicle membrane with the t-snare protein (syntaxin) in the cell membrane and their regulation is done by rab3 (GTPase complex).

    1. Tetanus toxin moves from the soiled broken skin reaches inhibitory neurons in the spinal cord and prevents docking of vesicles.
